I just read an article in Real Singapore,I cant be a Singaporean anymore~ Gosh~ it feel just like me HAHAH I hope i wont get caught for saying that =p I have so much respect for Lee Kuan Yew because of the NE promoted by sec school. I admire all the policy they made, including HDB and CPF, alot. I used to explain to my parent the rationale behind the govt policy when they complained. But now after i stop into the society, facing the real issues, i finally know it's not a bed of flower to behin with. I hate taking public transportation now, it's far too squeezy. There are so many time i feel foreign sitting in the MRT cos i am the only Singapore-look-alike onboard, the rest are obviously FT. I cant stop complaining about the education system, it's too expensive for a student from a average family. I ended up with 4k of debt just after graduation and find it hard to proceed to continue my studies. It's even more ridiculous when i saw news that our mp actually says that we dont have to get a degree to live well, gooness me, what was he talking about. I am a local poly grad and my starting pay was 1.6k. after working for years, i barely hit 2k. How to survive? My dream is to move to taiwan!! I can go dinner at Shilin NM everynight, go other areas if taiwan when on holiday! :)
