Difference in Married/ Dating Couples

I think i am one of my friends who get married first.. not very proud of that but well.. It's somewhere everyone will get to, just that i am just a few years ahead of them :)

Dating and Married are a completely different world!!

It really takes month or even years to get use to it especially for my case when everything change and settled at a very drastic speed. hahas

Activities

I think one of the most drastic change is the activity that we engage. Last time almost everytime we meet was to watch movies, eat brunch, shopping, eat dinner, shopping and say goodbye~

But this cant be the case if you are married, most of the time your activity will be just staying at home and do nothing. If you have a kid, that's going to be worst. HAHA. We stayed at home for every weekend and holiday until Ayden is reaching 1 plus year old. Say bye to freedom~~

Quarreling

Guys sucks! hahahaas. when you are dating.. quarrel means a big deal! He might drop whatever he was doing and rush down to your doorstep to say sorry. Or he will try all means to pacify you and make you laugh.

After married.. quarrel is an everyday thing hahaha! from who shall make the milk, throw diapers, what time to sleep to everything we do. There is no way he will make the effort as much as he did, most probably he will just keep quiet and go to sleep, hoping everything will back to normal next morning.

I used to get really upset over this change, but trust me. You will get used to it because it is really pointless to quarrel over little things and make both of you unhappy everyday. Most importantly, THERE WILL BE NO CONCLUSION! So now i will just nag and nag and nag and forget about it HAHA

Money Does Matter

He will start asking you to share the burden! This does not apply if you are married to a rich guy, of course!

But in my case, we share the financial burden and need to watch our spending habit closely. I can easily spend $100 dollar on shopping or eating last time, but now... he will nag nag nag and watch how many bags you have and how many new clothes you wear for work everyday. STRESS AH!

Family

Now, you have become the 'daughter-in-law' and 'son-in-law' of somebody. Thats mean more thing to do lah! Compromise, compromise, compromise, compromise is the only thing you can do. Regardless whether you can get along anot. That's the thing that you always have to do. To me.. thats sucks HAHAHA

Any other things like being filial and nice so that no people will bad-mouth you doesnt applied to me. COS I DONT GIVE A HECK! :D Peace out~ HAHAHA

In conclusion, married life is very different lah! But I am glad that we are now who we are and we are constantly growing ( in size also) even though we settled down early!

I cant wait to see more of my friend getting married and have kids!
